About Serene Respite

Serene Respite was founded with a profound belief in the power of compassionate care and the right of every child to experience joy and belonging. Our journey began from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families of children with disabilities and a desire to create a supportive, enriching environment. We are 2 children's nurses with 19 years experience of looking after children. Nine years was spent looking after children with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing a serene and safe space where children can thrive, and families can find the essential rest and peace of mind they deserve. Our inspiration comes directly from the resilience of the children we serve and the unwavering love of their families.

Serene Respite stands out as a special place due to our holistic approach to care, our dedicated team, and our commitment to creating an inclusive community. We offer a wide range of engaging activities tailored to individual needs, ensuring every child feels valued and included. Our facility in Southport is designed to be a safe, stimulating, and comforting 'home away from home'.
